Forum: Inkscape interpolate texte in .47 version

Hello,
I can't interpolate texte as in the version .45
here the tutorial i followed.

That's the way i do it, what's wrong please ?

- type texte
- selecte and choose path
- duplicate and seperate
-selecte both and choose interpolate ...
Nothing happens
Instead it work welle with any objet but not next.

I'm on ubuntu studio 9.10 french version.

I think you have make the object into a path after you type it and 
before
select and choose path

Could be  wrong mind you

have a look at this pdf. this is how I do it, sorry not to attach it

but had trouble finding it LOL
it's not my pdf but this is how I do a scalloped font. you can use your 
own
shape instead of the circle, of course.
