Draw rectangle, "Object to path" Click a side of the rectangle "insert new nodes" "insert new nodes" position as needed, "split path between nodes" Or Draw a rectangle, draw a shape that defines the chunk of the wall to be missing, "Path/Difference" then edit path by nodes, then split path, then delete nodes as needed.
