I hope I am not too far off topic here...... There are quite a few resources out these concerning programming SVG graphics but I have not found much of anything concerning SVG web programming. What I mean to say is, how do I take an SVG document and add hyperlinks, css, javascript, etc , to make that document a rich full fledged web site?-Patrick

Hi, here are some good SVG example sites with small examples/tutorials: http://www.datenverdrahten.de/svglbc/ (partially german) http://www.carto.net/papers/svg/samples/ (esp. section on interactivity, scripting/DOM tutorial, event tutorial, widgets) http://pilatinfo.org/english/index.htm - partially french. http://www.learnsvg.com/ - an electronic book http://www.kevlindev.com/ There are many more examples online. Also, have a look at the SVG Open proceedings of past years: http://www.svgopen.org/2002/ - http://www.svgopen.org/2007/ and the W3C testsuite and specification at http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/ Hope this helps, Andreas > challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great > prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the > world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > Inkscape-user mailing list > Inkscape-user@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/inkscape-user > -- Andreas Neumann Böschacherstrasse 6, CH-8624 Grüt/Gossau, Switzerland Email: a.neumann@carto.net, Web: * http://www.carto.net/ (Carto and SVG resources) * http://www.carto.net/neumann/ (personal page) * http://www.svgopen.org/ (SVG Open Conference) * http://www.geofoto.ch/ (Georeferenced Photos of Switzerland)
