Hello everybody, since this is my first post, I introduce myself : Christophe Benz, a french developer. First of all, I would like to congratulate all the Ruby-GNOME2 team for their work. Today I am interested in GooCanvas in order to develop a complex timeline widget. I saw on the page [1] that Ruby/GooCanvas was planned on the TODO list. Do somebody know who is in charge with this project ? Is it already hosted somewhere ? When will the developement start ? I would be glad to participate :-) Thank you in advance for your answers. I could use GnomeCanvas as a replacement, but it doesn't use Cairo (AFAIK) and GooCanvas' API is more modern. I would like to know if a tighter integration of Ruby-GNOME2 is planned with all the GNOME websites, as PyGTK does. Hi, >> But is there a way for a non-logged user to download the sources or do a >> checkout ? > > % svn co https://www.cozmixng.org/repos/ruby-goocanvas/trunk ruby-goocanvas Thank you. I could not see this command line on the website [1]. A new developer will ask the same question again. The status page of Ruby-GNOME2 [2] links to the original GooCanvas sourceforge project (in C language) but doesn't links to cozmixing.org. I could not edit this line on the page [2] : can someone give me a login to the wiki ? * ((<Ruby/GooCanvas|URL:http://www.cozmixng.org/retro/projects/ruby-goocanvas/>)) | ((<GooCanvas|URL:http://sourceforge.net/projects/goocanvas>)) Regards, === [1] http://www.cozmixng.org/retro/projects/ruby-goocanvas/ [2] http://ruby-gnome2.sourceforge.jp/hiki.cgi?Status -- Christophe Benz http://cbenz.tuxfamily.org
